How would you describe your photography style?
A.As a lifestyle photographer, I specialize in relaxed and natural family photography, capturing genuine moments without awkward poses. I understand that being in front of the camera can feel intimidating, so I take the time to chat with you and get to know your family first. With gentle guidance, I'll help you feel at ease, allowing me to create authentic, heartfelt images.
For newborn photography, I focus on natural interactions, photographing your baby in your home as they are—snuggled in your arms, on your shoulder, or simply resting. There’s no need for posed shots; instead, I capture the intimate details of this special time, reflecting your family’s connection in your own space.
Corporate functions, weddings, and birthdays are typically captured in a candid style.
How do I book a shoot?
A.Fill out the contact form to receive my brochure, and we'll check availability to reserve your date. If you prefer, you can also send me an email. If you have any questions that I haven't addressed, feel free to ask. I'll get in touch with you soon to discuss all the details.
Where will the session take place?
A.I highly recommend outdoor sessions in nature, where we can use the beautiful natural light and scenery as our backdrop, especially during the morning or late afternoon sunset hours. However, the choice is entirely yours. I'll usually chat with you to determine what would work best for your family, and I'm happy to suggest a couple of options to help you decide.
What should we wear?
A.The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and look like yourselves in your photos. My goal is to capture genuine moments, highlighting the love and connections within your family—so just be yourselves.
Consider coordinating your outfits with an overall color palette that complements each other without everyone matching exactly. For instance, if one child wears bright colors and another wears neutrals, it might create an imbalance in the images. A color wheel can be a helpful tool to visualize what works well together—complementary colors (opposites on the color wheel) are always a great option.
Textures can add visual interest to your outfits. Keep it simple with plain colours and subtle patterns that fit the overall colour scheme, and avoid clothing with bright neon colours, pictures, or prominent logos, as they can be distracting.
What happens after the shoot?
A.I'll edit your gallery of images and have them ready for you to view within two weeks of your session. You can enjoy browsing through your private online gallery from the comfort of your home.
Do you share your images anywhere?
A.You've likely seen images on my website and social media pages. Since most of my business comes through word of mouth, it's important for me to share my work with other families. Occasionally, I may share images from your session on my website or social media for this purpose.
If there's ever an image you'd prefer not to be shared online, just let me know, and I'll remove it right away—no questions asked. If you'd rather none of your images be posted online at all, that's completely fine too; simply inform me in advance.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
A.I’m available to travel for your event! Just note that travel and accommodation fees are charged separately from my photography fees
